Dr. Nancy Boyd Webb has worked for more than 25 years as a child and family therapist. Currently a professor at Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service, Dr. Webb founded the Postgraduate Certificate Program in child and Adolescent Therapy at Fordham in 1985. Her book, Helping Bereaved Children, grew directly out of her earlier acclaimed book, Play Therapy with Children in Crisis. Her videotape, "Techniques of Play Therapy," won a bronze medal at the New York Festivals International Non-Broadcast Media Competition. Dr. Webb maintains a private practice as a consultant and child and family therapist specializing in situation of trauma and bereavement.
