Martin H. Williams, Ph.D. is a clinical and forensic psychologist with offices in San Jose and Los Angeles, California.  He frequently testifies in malpractice matters in civil court and before licensing boards, and he consults with practitioners regarding risk management and consumer complaints.  In addition, Dr. Williams consults with attorneys in employment matters in which the plaintiff is claiming emotional damages and in criminal matters regarding competency to stand trial and sentence mitigation.  Dr. Williams has presented many lectures, publications and workshops on psychotherapy ethics.  He represented the Division of Independent Practice to the Ethics Code Task Force of the American Psychological Association, providing input from practitioners for the 2002 Ethics Code revision.
