Froma Walsh received her MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and her doctorate in Human Development from the University of Chicago. She is the Mose and Sylvia Firestone Professor Emerita at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, and co-director of the Center for Family Health at the University of Chicago.Her books include: Strengthening Family Resilience, Normal Family Processes, Living Beyond Loss: Death in the Family, Spiritual Resources in Family Therapy, Women and Families.
