Dr. Michael Baker has received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, a Masters degree in Theology, and a certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.  He is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist as well as a Marriage Family and Child Counselor.  Dr. Baker is the Executive Director of the LaVie Counseling Centers with offices in Pasadena and Santa Monica.  In addition to his public appearances, Dr. Baker has made numerous presentations to professional psychological organizations and published articles in professional psychological journals such as Psychoanalytic Psychology, and the Journal of Psychology and Theology.Dr. Baker''s latest boook, The Greatest Psychologist Who Ever Lived:  Jesus and the Wisdom of the Soul was published in 2001.
