Moshe Torem. M.D. is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Akron General Medical Center, in Akron, Ohio. A graduate of the Hebrew University School of Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel, Dr. TOREM has received many awards for his work, teachings, and large body of writings in the study of trauma, dissociation, and their effects on personality development. Probably he is most widely respected and loved for his great heart and empathy.
